30 Days of Identity: I Am Free

Read this 60 Second devotion. Each day, based on our verse of the day, we will add one new label to our Christian identity. At the end of 30 Days, we will have a life affirming, identity forming declaration. This is life changing stuff! --- Day 4 The Word - "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1 ESV A Thought - I was talking to an older gentleman the other day. He was telling me about his multi-millionaire friend. This friend, a 75 year old, still works, refuses to let his wife retire, will not allow himself to enjoy any of his wealth and lives in constant fear of poverty. Hey, we all have issues. I'm not judging.

In Christ, we can retire from working to earn our salvation. We can enjoy the richness of His lavish grace, and we have no reason to ever be in fear. WE ARE FREE!
