30 Days of Identity: I am Full of Hope

Read this 60 Second devotion. Each day, based on our verse of the day, we will add one new label to our Christian identity. At the end of 30 Days, we will have a life affirming, identity forming declaration. This is life changing stuff! --- Day 25

The Word - "For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works." Titus 2:11-14 ESV

A Thought - When we are in Christ, we can never be truly hopeless. No matter how awful our circumstances, no matter how unjust we have been treated, no matter how bad our outlook, we always have hope. Even the secular world knows that hope is transformative. We need it like we need air to breathe. The hope we Christians enjoy is in Jesus, who overcame the world and all of its drama! The hope we have grows brighter and increases in its influence the more we focus on its source, Jesus and his glorious return in victory.

My Prayer of Declaration - Lord, because of You, I am a New Creation, I am Forgiven, I am Reconciled to God, I am Free, I am Loved, I am complete, I am a citizen of Heaven, I am God's Child, I am Strong, I am not afraid, I am God's Masterpiece, His Ambassador, His Witness and He Welcomes me. I am a Servant of God (just like Jesus), I am more than a Conqueror, I am Holy, I am becoming more like Jesus every day, I have been delivered from darkness, I am chosen, I am a priest, I am a Temple of the Holy Spirit, I'm on a Mission from God, and I am full of hope! - All blessing, honor, glory, power and praise are Yours, Amen.

Touch the Hem of Jesus' Robe and transform your life, 60 seconds at a time. - Scott
