30 Days of Identity: I Am Reconciled to God

Read this 60 Second devotion. Each day, based on our verse of the day, we will add one new label to our Christian identity. At the end of 30 Days, we will have a life affirming, identity forming declaration. This is life changing stuff! ---- Day 3 The Word - "For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross." A Thought - It is always a kick to see how fast a newly married couple changes their Facebook Relationship Status to married. The status change is a right of passage in 21st Century America. Did you know that we each have a relationship status with God? According to Romans 5:10, our relationship status before our salvation is "enemy." Yes, we were enemies of God. Great News! When we placed our faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, God changed our relationship status immediately from "enemy" to "beloved." In other words, through salvation, we are reconciled with God and brought into a loving relationship.
