38 Days of Miracles: Healing in Cana

This 30 Days Series will lead us to Touch the Hem of Jesus' Robe by taking a look at the the 37 +1 Miracles of Jesus that are recorded in the Bible.

The Word - " When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. " John 4:47-50 ESV

A Thought - Turns out, the man's son was healed the very moment that Jesus said he was. There are a couple of cool thoughts here. 1) Jesus sees past what we say and knows what we really mean. 2) The man took Jesus at his word and demonstrated his trust in Jesus by turning and heading home to his son. What would happen if we simply took Jesus at his word and then demonstrated our belief through our actions? I might be pretty amazing.

A Prayer - Lord, thank you for all of those you have healed and those have yet to heal. Thank you for looking into my heart and always speaking truth to me. Give me the faith to believe everything you have said and empower me to live my faith out through my actions. - In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
