38 Days of Miracles:YRUHERE?

This 30 Days Series will lead us to Touch the Hem of Jesus' Robe by taking a look at the the 37 +1 Miracles of Jesus that are recorded in the Bible.

The Word - " While he was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy.b And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him. And he charged him to tell no one, but “go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a proof to them.” But now even more the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities. Luke 5:12-15 ESV

A Thought - Jesus healed many people. When the word got out, people flocked to him to be healed. They pursued him because of what they thought He might do, not because of who He was; the Messiah. Sometimes we need to do a little heart check and make sure that we are following Jesus because of who He is and not what He can do. After all, if we're only in it for the blessings, we're likely to run off when religious persecution is upon us.

A Prayer - Lord, I love you and am grateful for all that you have done for me. I ask that you help me to keep my eyes focused on you, my heart satisfied with you, and my life fulfilled by your Providence. - In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
