38 Days of Miracles: More Muddy Miracles!
This 30 Days Series will lead us to Touch the Hem of Jesus' Robe by taking a look at the the 37 +1 Miracles of Jesus that are recorded in the Bible.
The Word - "1As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. 5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man’s eyes with the mud 7and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing." John 9:1-7 ESV
A Thought - We, the humans of this world, love to affix blame and point the finger. Often that is followed with a description of how we would have done thing better, or differently. According to Jesus, some things happen simply because God can use them later for his purposes.
A Prayer - Lord, sometimes I struggle with the question, why. I understand that knowing the answer to that question is not always for me. Give me peace when I do not get to know why and faith to believe that that you always have things under control.- In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
