Day 10-30 Days of Being a Better Human

The Word - "Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people." Proverbs 28:16 ESV

A Thought - Have you ever considered that every time we engage someone's service whether as a waiter, or an auto mechanic, they are serving us. In effect, we are momentary rulers. Now, ask just about any waitress which day of the week is the worst to work. Did you guess Sunday; the church crowd? If we Christians all acted more like Christ and less like wicked rulers, Sunday would not only be the waitress' favorite day of the week, it would be her most prosperous. Treating those who serve us well is an essential trait of those who would be better humans.

A Prayer - Lord, forgive me for being rude and demanding to those who are in my service. I know that You were not that way. Today, I choose to be generous in everything from patience to gratuities. Help me be a cause for Your name to be praised. - In Jesus' name, Amen.
