A Thought - Loving our enemies is unimaginable, yet Jesus told us to do just that. He did it first by loving us, so it must be possible. Perhaps if we remind ourselves that our enemies were made in God's image, that Jesus died for them too, that they had parents and have hope and dreams just like us, it might be easier to love them. Now, liking them, on the other hand...
A Prayer - Lord, You have told me to love those that are my enemies. I think I'm going to need Your help with that. Help me see them the way You see them. Teach me to love my enemies and if possible to make peace with them. - In Jesus' name, Amen.
