Day 28-30 Days of Being a Better Human

The Word - "For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits." James 1:11 ESV

A Thought - It seems like from the time we are young, we are looking for ways to set ourselves apart from others. We want to be better in every way. The two most preferred distinctions are wealth and beauty. James reminds us that death is the great equalizer. It comes in its own time and spares no one. There’s nothing wrong with being rich and good looking but keep it in perspective.

A Prayer - Lord, I know I can get my priorities a bit mixed up. Help me to keep things in the best perspective.- In Jesus' name, Amen.
