Mark: Day 25 - Live the Indestructible Life

This 30 Days Series will lead us to Touch the Hem of Jesus' Robe by taking a look at the Gospel of Mark.

The Word - "And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!” And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”” Mark 13:1-2 ESV

A Thought - Just a few decades later, Jesus' prophecy about the temple was fulfilled. Just thinking about the beautiful buildings of the temple, it reminds me that those things which are made by the hand of man can be destroyed by the hand of man. Accordingly, those things which are built by the hand of God can only be destroyed by the hand of God. Build your life in the Kingdom of God. Live by the values of God. Store your treasure with God, and you will have a life that no man can harm.

A Prayer - Lord, your ways are great and far beyond my understanding. Fill my heart with the desire to do things your way. Give me the wisdom and wherewithal to follow through on that desire. Yours is the Kingdom and the Glory and the Power forever and ever! - In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
