The Word - "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," - Romans 3:23 ESV

A Thought - Every person, to one degree or another, comes up short when it comes to living up to God's standard. We are often tempted to think, "If I was just a better person, everything would be okay." Being a better person is a great idea, but you will never be "better enough" to get into the Kingdom of God. What if we simply acknowledged that we are not good enough, and instead of beating ourselves up simply turned to Jesus?

A Prayer - Lord, You know that I tend to stumble in my walk with You. I recognize that I cannot do life in my own strength. I choose to keep my eyes focused on You and to trust You. Simply being alive is not enough. I want to thrive. - In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
