The Word - When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17 ESV

A Thought - When we ask for help, we usually already know what kind of help we want and we are often disappointed when God answers in a different way. The next time you ask God for help, try asking with the expectation the help WILL come, but be open to the creative ways in which God might provide it. God will surprise you. I've also found that often times God will throw a little spiritual lesson in with His help just for good measure.

A Prayer - Lord, You have made me righteous through Jesus, so I know You will deliver me from trouble. Help me to find joy in the creative ways that You provide help. Today, if You so desire, use me as one of those creative ways to send help to someone. - In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
