The Word - "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all." 2 Thessalonians 3:16 ESV

A Thought - The desire for peace transcends time, language, and geography. It is virtually a universal desire. The peace that this world offers is always temporary and can often come at a great cost. The peace of Jesus came at the greatest cost. His peace, the most expensive peace, is lasting and true. It ministers to us in every way and is beyond human comprehension. All we need to do is reach for Jesus. Just a touch, just a moment, and Jesus will do the rest.

A Prayer - Lord, I am reaching out to You. I know You are always near me, but I'm not always looking in Your direction. I want Your peace, Jesus. I want peace in every way. Today, help me to be ever mindful of my great need for You. I know when I reach out, You'll be there. - In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
