The Word - "The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." Psalm 9:9 ESV

A Thought - In different ways, most of us have been bullied, oppressed, or picked on at some point in our lives. We Jesus followers find ever increasing bullying coming from those who disagree with our beliefs or want to silence our voices. Our first thoughts are usually to justify ourselves or to fight back. Jesus offers a better way. We can place our trust in Him to bring justice, fight for us, and protect us.

A Prayer - Lord, the voices that speak out against us are getting louder and their oppression is getting bolder. I want to fight back but I ask that you lead me to trust you and rest in the safety of Your Providence. - In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
